Fishing at Elwood Reservoir

Elwood Reservoir, just south of Johnson Lake and about 12 miles south of Lexington, is another popular spot for fishing. Visitors may find the water level lower than usual due to prolonged drought conditions in western Nebraska. While getting boats to the water may be a challenge, water levels will still support the fishery for dedicated anglers.
