Family Aquatic Center

Lexington’s family aquatic center opens Memorial Day weekend and will remain open through the end of August. Pool hours are Monday through Thursday –1-7:30 p. m., and Friday-Sunday, 1-6 p. m.

The center features a 160-foot long water slide, two pools, a sand volleyball court, bathing decks and eating areas. A splash pad with fountains is geared toward the younger set and young at heart.

The family aquatic center has zero-depth (beach-type) entry and a diving pit and is near Kirkpatrick Memorial Park, Ninth and Monroe.

Swimming lessons are offered and the Lexington Swim Association sponsors a swim team.
